More than meds.
I'm a psychiatrist in San Francisco with a practice that combines the best of the traditional and the new. Careful psychiatric assessment, individual psychotherapy (along with medication when needed), and openness to mind-body connections, mindfulness, and other contemporary approaches to adult development and well-being. Some call this "integrative" psychiatry. To me it's just the sensible and open-minded way to go.
Do you appear successful on the outside, but want to overcome longstanding dissatisfaction or self-defeating behavior? This can take many forms, such as prolonged reactions to trauma or grief, undue guilt or self-blame, failure to live up to your potential, or a pattern of interpersonal conflicts. Call today, I'd like to help.
